Lynn is the Chief Instructor and owner of Gun Safety Academy.

He has been involved in the sport of shooting since the age of 9. (A long time!)

​

After spending thirty years in the IT industry managing people and systems he has shifted his focus to Project Management and is a recognized leader who is often sought for his advice, maturity and skills in managing challenging projects.

​

He has expereience teaching, coaching and mentoring for all age levels from 3 through the C level in the corporate world. His passion for focusing on Family Friendly Gun Safety arises from his own real-life experiences as a Father and Grandfather. He taught his children to shoot at early ages and when his grandchildren expressed an interest in shooting he decided to formally complete certified firearms instruction.

The youngest child that he has instructed in gun safety was two years old. They are never too young to learn gun safety.

​

While enjoying the frequent visits of grandchildren he recognized the need to provide a safe environment while nurturing the curious nature of children. Thus he has chosen to focus on gun safety, particularly as it applies to a home environment.
